Most of the reviews say the view is awesome which it is. The hotel is located on top of a mountain. The truth is this is an old outdated hotel and needs to be renovated. The outdoor breakfast buffet looks nice but every day there were dozens of flies were all over the food.
The thermostats in the rooms are just for show. The front desk folks control the AC.
The lawn was half grass & half burnt and weeds. They do not maintain the grounds well.
I would not say again. There are much nicer and less expensive hotels in the area with great views.
Refurbished, so rooms were fantastic. Food delicious. All staff were wonderful, couldn’t have been more helpful and brilliant views. Pool party first day followed by wedding next day. Such happy memories for the happy couple.
The hotel is in a lovely location with magnificent views. We were lucky in that we had a room with a large balcony that overlooked the Bay of Poets. All of the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. After trekking along the Cinque Terre, it was a relief to return here for a luxurious way to end the day.

The hotel is located at the top of the mountain. You need leave the car in the village parking and the team is taking you to the hotel by shuttle.

Spa experience not worth it.
the outside pool and view makes up for a lot but not worth paying for the Spa.
The facilities were not running properly, the one jacuzzi was dirty and poorly quality, the other one smelt like we were basking in chlorine. One of the Sauna’s was not on or not working… don’t know. The hot and cold showers of the spa were very disappointing. Only nice thing was the steam bath but it was not that hot. Unless they can upholster the place, I would not go back nor recommend.
My mother got a massage and said it was an amazing deep tissue massage.
